My sessions are conversations with training wheels: you talk, I catch you, we laugh, you talk more. The grammar arrives on schedule, but confidence comes first, because confident students practice and practicing students become fluent.
Camila’s story
Camila grew up translating for her grandmother at the pharmacy in Miami and picked up Portuguese from her Brazilian neighbors' telenovelas. She spent a year teaching English in Medellín, where being the confused language learner herself — laughed at kindly and corrected gently — permanently changed how she teaches. Her students speak from the first session because that's the only way she ever learned anything.
